Students who were enrolled in Van Alstyne ISD through the end of the 2022-2023 school year can use the online registration system in the district's Parent Portal to enroll for the 2023-2024 school year. 

1. Click on the Parent Portal Link

2. Login to your Parent Portal Account

3. Click Registration 

4. Verify that all information is correct and make any necessary changes. 

If you already have an enrolled student at VAISD and need to add additional students who are enrolling in the district for the first time, follow these steps:

1. Click on the Parent Portal Link

2. Login to your Parent Portal Account

3. Click My Account 

4. Click Enroll a New Student

5. Complete steps 1-6

You must sign in with an email that has been used to enroll the student.  Only parent/guardians have the ability to register students.

*The new Ascender Parent Portal should only be used by parents and guardians. Students will have access to a new Ascender Student Portal in the fall where they will be able view their own grades and much more. 

*Although each guardian can create an Ascender Parent Portal account for access to attendance, grades, etc., only one guardian should complete the steps below to register a student for the upcoming school year.
