Dear Students, Parents, and Community Members,

Welcome to Van Alstyne ISD!  We are excited about the great things which are happening in the community and the district.  We are continuing on our journey to provide a premier education to all of our students.

The campuses and the District are committed to providing an engaging learning environment in which all students are provided a quality education. We have a great staff which builds positive relationships while developing rigorous and challenging learning experiences. The District is proud to have graduation rates, SAT and ACT scores which are significantly above the state average. Our goal is to have students who are prepared to enter the workforce or college when they graduate high school.

The District will continue to look for opportunities to partner with Grayson College, the City of Van Alstyne as well as parents, grandparents and community members to provide an educational system which listens to its constituents. Even with the improvements the last couple of years, the District is not satisfied.  We will continue to strive for improvements in the classroom, on the athletic field, in fine arts, and financially.  Van Alstyne ISD appreciates the trust the community put in us to educate your children and be involved in the development of their future. 

The district is currently experiencing growth which has allowed us to open Sanford Elementary during the 2018 – 2019 school year. We look forward to continuing the traditions and trademarks of being a Van Alstyne Panther!
