Conversations (For Parents)

You can recognize the conversations tab on your Edlio home screen by looking for the double speech bubble icon. (Depending on the layout and size of your icons, it may be in a different location than in the example above)
Once you open the Conversations Tab for the first time, it should show a blank screen, with a blue plus-sign button at the bottom.
When you click the plus sign, you'll see an option for "Create New Conversation"
On the next screen, you can select a recipient and give the conversation a unique name
NOTE: You can select more than one recipient for your message. This can be useful if you need to send a message to all of your students' teachers at the same time.
You can search for the teacher's name, rather than having to scroll through the entire list
Once you select the teacher(s) who will be receiving the message, you can then name the conversation.
After all of this, click the blue plus sign to be taken to the message screen.
You can send a text-only message, or you can add emojis, pictures or other files to the message as well.
When a teacher responds to your message, you will receive a PUSH NOTIFICATION
When you click on the push notification, it will take you to the conversation and you can respond to the message as well.
NOTE: Make sure you check your NOTIFICATIONS status under your account information to ensure that notifications are turned on. You can access your settings by clicking on your initials in the upper right corner.
