Thank you to all who joined us at the Partin Elementary School and Sanford Elementary School Ribbon Cuttings and Dedications!

At both dedications, Dr. Brown thanked: the VAISD School Board, WRA Architects, Inc., Gallagher Construction Services, the Political Action Committee (consisting of John Carroll, Gail Dansby, Donna Kern, and Mandy Montgomery), former VAISD superintendent Dr. John Spies, Mr. Bill Benton, the Van Alstyne Education Foundation, Inc., and the entire Van Alstyne Community. He also recognized the VAISD technology, maintenance, custodial, and elementary staff who have been an instrumental in the opening of both Partin and Sanford Elementary!

John and Nelda Partin spoke about meeting as new teachers at VAISD, and their love for the community and raising their family in Van Alstyne.  Robert Sanford spoke about his and his wife Lola's move to Van Alstyne in the 1980's, and how they enjoy all aspects of their involvement in the VA community.  VAISD is proud to have wonderful role models to name our schools after!
