The Van Alstyne ISD Board of Trustees will consider approval of the district’s annual Senate Bill 12 Compliance Certification during its Regular Board Meeting on Monday, Sept. 14, 2026.

As part of the agenda item, the Board will review, deliberate and vote on certifying to the Texas Education Agency (TEA) that Van Alstyne ISD complies with applicable requirements outlined in Senate Bill 12.

The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. in the Van Alstyne ISD Board Room, 1096 N. Waco St. Members of the public are invited to provide public comment on the compliance report prior to the Board vote.
