The VAISD Board of Trustees voted 7-0 Monday night to update local Board policy. Among the changes approved was moving Regular Board Meetings to the second Monday of each month.

The change is intended to reduce scheduling conflicts with district events and holidays. Of the regular meetings initially scheduled under the new calendar, only the October meeting needed to be moved to a Thursday.

Regular Board Meetings will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the VAISD Board Room. The Board of Trustees will then move into Closed Session, with Open Session resuming immediately afterward, typically around 7:00 p.m.

Those wishing to participate in the Public Comment portion of the meeting should submit their comment cards by 6:45 p.m. unless otherwise noted.
