The VAISD Board of Trustees went through a transformation on Friday night, as new members were sworn in and new leadership was elected.

The evening began with the swearing in of Sara Watson, who will represent Place 3, and Jared Ramsey, who will represent Place 4.

Following executive session, the board reconvened to open session and unanimously approved (7-0) new officer elections:

• President - Beau Williams
• Vice-President - David Kerr
• Secretary - Matt Morris

Congratulations to Sara Watson and Jared Ramsey as they begin their journey with the VAISD Board of Trustees, and to Beau Williams, David Kerr and Matt Morris on their election to board leadership.
