Due to the potential for winter weather, we are proactively adjusting our schedule to prioritize the safety of our students, staff, and families. Secondary(VAMS, VAJH, VAHS) will release at 12:00 PM

Elementary(Partin and Sanford Elementary) will release at 1:00 PM

Basketball

Varsity Games at home vs Sanger originally scheduled for Friday, the 23rd, will be moved to Thursday, the 22nd.

Girls Varsity 5:00PM - Arena

Boys Varsity 6:15PM - Arena

JV and freshman games are cancelled.

Band Pancake Breakfast

Due to the inclement weather on Saturday the Pancake Breakfast has been rescheduled for Saturday January 31st.

VAISD Board Meeting

Scheduled for January 26, 2026 will be moved to January 28, 2026 at 5:00 PM 

Van Alstyne High School Softball

Softball scrimmage scheduled for Saturday has been cancelled

 

VAHS Boys Powerlifting

Meet in Denison scheduled for Saturday has been moved to January 22, 2026

              VAISD Competitive Shooting Team

              NE DFW Division League shoot has been rescheduled to Jan 31st.
