The goal of the VAISD athletic department is to provide an environment that teaches lifelong lessons that will equip our student-athletes with skills that will benefit them throughout their journey both here at VA and in their future. We have high expectations and will coach our kids with integrity, consistency and accountability.  There is no substitute for the lessons learned through hard work, dedication and striving to reach a common goal shared by a group of people.  Kids who learn to put others first and prove to their teammates they are dedicated and committed to one another will make great co-workers, citizens, mothers and fathers. It’s our expectation that each kid in our program will be taught how these traits will help them succeed both academically and on the competition field.
