New Student Enrollment Information

 
 
Welcome to Van Alstyne ISD
 
 
 
 
Please follow the steps below to register a new student in Van Alstyne ISD.  A new student may be registered to attend school at Van Alstyne ISD  by one of the following:
 
* A parent with legal custody
 
* A person is a resident of Van Alstyne with a written notarized statement giving them limited power of attorney
 
The following must be provided to enroll:
 
* Shot Records
* Birth Certificate
* Social Security Card (copy)
* Proof of Residency (utility bill)
* Withdrawal Form from the previous school
* Transcripts/Report Card from the previous school
* Testing Information +
* Copy of legal guardian / enrolling person's drivers license
 
            + Information can be requested from the previous school with a signed records release form
 
To begin the registration process, you will set up a user account in Ascender Parent Portal. The image below shows where to click to create a new TxConnect user. Please click here to begin the registration process. The first step in the process, is to click on Create Account, in the bottom right of the Ascender Parent Portal Home screen.  After you have completed the process, bring the required documents to the campus of enrollment.
